More than 2,000 attendees at Citrix iForum Benelux 2009!
Citrix iForum Benelux 2009 was an enormous success; we welcomed over 2,000 attendees at the 2-day event in Antwerp. Almost 400 customers and partners attended a wide range of in-depth technical and positioning workshops and a formal Citrix 'tool wire' training on the first day. After a joined buffet busses left from the official event hotels to the Networking Evening. Almost 900 people networked and met their peers during this spectacular evening in the harbour of Antwerp. After a special alumni welcoming toast, the Networking Evening became a magnificent party with a stunning performance by the Golden Earring.
On the second day we welcomed 1,800 people at the conference day. CEO & President Citrix Systems Inc., Mark Templeton, opened the conference with a very well received keynote including a lot of spectacular demo's and lots of news: Citrix Dazzle, Citrix Receiver for iPhone, virtualised appliances, HDX technologies etcetera. Throughout the day the attendees had a full program with a lot of break out sessions and demonstrations. The Technology Labs with hands-on experience were very well visited and the 'HP Simply Virtualisation Event' which took place under the umbrella of Citrix iForum was a great success.
